Spiritual Direction
-
Christian spiritual direction is, at its heart, a sacred conversation. It's a time when two people come together to discern how God might be present and active in the directee's everyday life.
The focus is not on offering advice, but on paying attention to the ways God encounters us in every experience and event in our lives.
Spiritual direction can be a helpful practice for anyone looking experience a deeper friendship with God, including:
Individuals questioning or experiencing a shift in beliefs about God, themselves, or others
Those in a season of discernment or change
Ministry leaders, with a special focus on women in ministry
Those who are looking for a fresh approach to prayer
College students and seminarians preparing for ministry
